Chaweng  clubs

Marios Austin Powers Dance Bar

Located at the  entrance to the Green Mango this  big outside dance floor and bar area is more of an overspill to the Green Mango, lots of stray girls after the girly bars close!

The Reggae Pub

The first and oldest club for Koh-Samui,  recently celebrated its 20th birthday. The logo of Bob Marley looks across the dance floor. The Night starts with reggae and sometimes with live music. Around midnight local DJ's takeover and things really hotup! A great club, lovely surroundings with views towards the lake and back of Chaweng town.A large size dancefloor with bars surrounding it.Popular with locals and tourist's.Every night finishes with 'No woman no cry'.

The Green Mango

Biggest club in Chaweng - Lots of places to sit and listen to the lastest house music or you can dance the night away on the large dance floor. Under the same roof is another bar area where they play a lot of soul music. The music from the two soundsystems almost competing against each other on the dancefloor.A very Happening place with lots of atmosphere and lots of girls!!

Sweet 'n Soul

Very popular with  locals this club has a bar in the middle with a big round wooden roof where the sound system is located. The sound in this bar is superb, the best sound system in Town! A very nice place  if you prefer not to be dazzled with bright lighting.Gets very crowded, get here early if you prefer to sit down.

Dream Girls

This is one of the biggest go-go bars in Chaweng. Girls with numbers, the girls here are in a class of their own.pick a number, buy her a "Mai-Tai" and for the price of a round of drinks back she's yours. For the night at least!

Sound Bar

A nightclub with a swimming pool. This  club has a huge open air  sitting area, head towards the back and you arrive at a swimming pool with even further to the back a dancefloor. Some interesting nights here when people end up in the pool. Overall a large club with different areas to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.

Solo Bar

Large open air club with a recently updated sound system and lighting. About 4 different bar areas, two of them being roofed. There is a main dance floor. Lots of pool tables, a ladder game and rodeo bull. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view around the bar areas.

Long Beer

This is mainly a thai local club not many tourists go here, Its quite a Large club with lots of seating and a big stage. Many different live groups play here and are very talented.A place to bring your Thai girlfriend!

Charlies Angels

My personal favourite, lots of girls, good music and good service!Have a look for yourself, leave your scooter outside and later on leave with a angel on the back!

Chaweng beach bars

The Islander

The Islander is a Koh Samui institution, with one of the best central locations on the island for people watching with a cold beer in your hand. They also provide an extensive Thai and Western menu, international and local beverages and show live sporting events throughout the year including extensive coverage of European football leagues. Chaweng road, tel: +66 (0) 77 230 836.

Tropical Murphy’s

Murphy’s is comparable in many ways to the Islander, but with just a bit more Craic. Solid Irish fare and beers are obviously a specialty, so if you’re missing a Guinness and a bowl of stew this is the place for you. There’s great live music from the Roaring Bhoys too. Chaweng Beach Rd, tel: +66 (0) 77 413 614.

The Ark Bar

Perhaps Chaweng’s best-known beach bar, the Ark is always a good bet for a party. It makes for a stunning location throughout the day, with plenty of seating inside or out on the sand. At night the candles and cushions come out, enhancing an atmosphere that already includes starry skies and gentle waves lapping Chaweng beach. The Ark Bar isn’t alone here, and you’ll find plenty of similar bars up and down the sand. Chaweng Beachside, tel: +66 (0) 77 422 047.

The Sportsman

If for you, Saturdays and Sundays just aren’t complete without live football then head to The Sportsman on the Chaweng beach road, a bar that boasts a huge screen, plenty of space and a large election of beers and drinks. The cavernous establishment also includes snooker tables, so it can make for a great sporting location for your weekend night out.

Co-Co Blues

If live music is your passion, then you’re in luck at this place with nightly live performances. They also serve excellent food as well as an extensive list of drinks. Chaweng Beach Rd, tel: +66 (0) 77 414 354.
